SKIN CARE
Let’s be real — skincare isn’t just about “looking good.” It’s about feeling good in your own skin. Our skin is the first thing people notice, and how we treat it says a lot about how we treat ourselves. Taking care of it isn’t vanity it’s self-respect.
Whether you’re just splashing water on your face or following a full routine, skincare is your chance to slow down, check in, and give yourself a little love. The right products don’t just make your skin glow — they boost your confidence, simplify your beauty routine, and remind you that you’re worth the effort.
Because here’s the truth: when your skin feels good, you feel good. And you deserve that.
MY SKIN TYPE
I have acne-prone, combination skin that’s mostly oily but can get dry in certain areas, especially around my cheeks and under-eyes. Because my skin is prone to clogged pores and breakouts, I focus on using products that balance oil, keep my pores clear, and maintain hydration without feeling heavy. I start with charcoal micellar water to cleanse and detox, then use a rice toner for gentle brightening and to even out my skin tone. I like to layer hyaluronic acid for hydration and use niacinamide to control excess oil and refine my texture. The caffeine solution helps with my under-eye bags, and I always finish with CeraVe SPF to protect my skin during the day.
At night, I stick to the same cleanser and toner, but I alternate between azelaic acid and salicylic acid depending on how my skin feels — they help reduce acne and clear out congestion. I follow with hyaluronic acid again for moisture and the Hydro Boost moisturizer to keep my skin soft and balanced while I sleep. Overall, my routine is all about keeping my skin clear, hydrated, and balanced — controlling oil without stripping it.
